Side-Docks
Left Edge
An app bar docked to the left side of your window. Slide to the edge to reveal all running app icons — click to switch. Supports multi-window lists, fullscreen mode, and a file drawer.
macOS Edge Workspace
Side-Pilot places a toolbar on three edges of your screen: Side-Docks on the left to switch app windows, Top-Dock on top to switch tabs within the same app, and Side-Note on the right for quick notes.
All toolbars follow the active window — slide to use, move away to hide. Zero workspace clutter.
Three Edges, One Flow
Left Edge
An app bar docked to the left side of your window. Slide to the edge to reveal all running app icons — click to switch. Supports multi-window lists, fullscreen mode, and a file drawer.
Top Edge
A tab bar docked to the top of your window. When one app has multiple windows, slide to the top edge to expand the tab list and swipe to switch — solving the "can't find my window" problem.
Right Edge
A Markdown note panel docked to the right side. Take notes while you work — drag text in, auto task lists, folder management. Notes stay local, you own your data.
Side-Docks
Slide to the left edge of the active window and the sidebar appears automatically. It hides when not in use — zero screen footprint.
One click to show every window of every app. A more intuitive replacement for Mission Control.
Built-in center and fullscreen buttons in the sidebar — one click to force-center or fill the screen.
Click the file icon to open a Finder-like panel for quick access to your frequent files — no app switching needed.
Right-click an app icon to hide less-used apps and keep the sidebar clean. Supports drag-to-reorder and pinning.
Pin the sidebar so it stays visible. Great for ultrawide and multi-monitor setups.
Top-Dock
Slide to the top edge of any window to expand the current app's multi-window tab bar.
Swipe left/right with two fingers on the Top-Dock to quickly switch between windows of the same app.
Use the +/– buttons to adjust how many window tabs are shown at once — fits any screen width.
Pin Top-Dock to keep it always visible — ideal when you frequently switch between windows of the same app.
Side-Note
Slide from the right edge to open a note panel with full Markdown support. Write while you work — never leave your current window.
Drag text from any app into Side-Note and it's automatically saved as a note.
Type * followed by a space to auto-create a task list. Click the task-list button to view and manage all to-dos.
Notes are saved in a local folder you choose. Create sub-folders for organization. Works with iCloud, Dropbox, or any sync solution.
